EASEL PAINTINGS, DRAWINGS
An
easel painting approach gives me a great pleasure. After Fedoskino Miniature,
the transition to large canvas supports affords the opportunity to stretch
myself and look at my work from a different scale. I retain the multilayer
painting techniques that are utilized in miniature painting, actually.

The genres of my works vary greatly: portraits, landscapes, narratives. And my favourite topic is horses.
In
cooperation with interior designers I have been creating paintings
for private interiors of flats and houses. Some of them have
been represented on pages of "SALON interior" magazine, issues
3/1996 and 2/1998, in particular.
The work incorporating interiors is doubly interesting. Knowing the architecture
and the colour scheme of an object, I enjoy a great possibility to fit
my painting in a concrete place more deliberately and organically. For
example, your family portrait displayed prominently in your lounge.
